Project Overview
This home sits on a scenic 10-acre property and features impressive elements, including a fully finished basement, zero-entry access, and a walkout to take in the views. We also built a reinforced 360 sq ft storm shelter tucked beneath the front porch, adding both safety and value.
Project Highlights
- Foundation and Basement Floor: This large-scale foundation required 100 yards of concrete, with an additional 40 yards for the basement floor. Our team worked alongside suppliers Springville Ready Mix for concrete, Blake Hersburger for placement, and Carrol Supply for rebar, form ties, and drains. Every detail was carefully coordinated to ensure strength and longevity.
- Advanced Technology for Precision: To ensure perfect square placement, SCC of Iowa used the Trimble Total Station Robot. This cutting-edge technology provides accuracy within an eighth of an inch, ensuring the highest level of quality control on even the largest projects.
- Safety First – Storm Shelter Installation: Under the front porch lies a reinforced 360 sq ft storm shelter, designed to provide peace of mind and reliable protection against severe weather while blending seamlessly into the home’s design.
