SCC of Iowa is proud to announce the start of a new foundation project on Savannah Ct in Hiawatha. For this project, we’re utilizing a perforated 2×6 form for the footings, which allows us to complete both the form and drain tile in one seamless step. This innovative approach not only improves efficiency but also ensures a high-quality foundation for the structure.
Next, we’ll be installing Western aluminum wall panels, known for their durability and precision, featuring a textured brick form pattern. These panels offer a strong, reliable foundation while adding an attractive finish to the project.

From the Skies: SCC Project Highlights
Take a look at our latest project at 2921 Savannah Dr, Hiawatha! We’re honored to have been chosen for this custom build, featuring over 471 feet of concrete walls and footings—totaling 90 yards of concrete. We utilized a Putzmeister 47m concrete pump to get the job done efficiently.
This home includes standout features like zero-entry access (no steps into the house!), a custom storm shelter, and concrete window wells. Plus, we finished the project four days ahead of schedule!
Next up, we’ll be installing a 4″ thick concrete floor with a vapor barrier and radon sump pit. Shoutout to our experienced team for their hard work and dedication. With over 20 years of expertise in concrete foundations, they truly delivered!
